Vision:

        The department aspires to achieve ethical, human and cognitive integration.

Message:

       Creating scientific and research climates that help the student to achieve and advance knowledge.

Goals:

  1. Paying attention to Arabic language, as it is the language of the Noble Qur’an first, and as it is one of official languages ​​approved by United Nations in 1973. Arabic language has religious and international significance, as it is spoken by no less than four hundred million speakers.

  2. Updating the levels of linguistic and literary study by developing study plans related to its vocabulary, as well as developing various linguistic and creative skills.

  3. Developing curricula in accordance with the decisions of Deans’ Committee of College of Education and in line with developments in Arabic language curricula locally and regionally.

 

4-Involving students on scientific research, teaching them its basics by introducing them to the structure of scientific research and methods of documenting it honestly and faithfully, which prepares students to be researchers who possess the tools of scientific research in later.

5- Participation in seminars, workshops, symposium, and instructional lectures that increase the student’s knowledge awareness Social, national and humanitarian, link it to the field of scientific research and making it capable of debate, dialogue and active participation.

6- Creating ways of cooperation between the department and local and regional scientific and social institutions through holding seminars and joint studies
