College of Education (Tarmyha) is one of Al- Iraqia University formations of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, it adopts all controls, regulations, and laws that apply to its counterparts. The college was established in 2008, it is located 40 kilometers north of Baghdad, on the main road between Baghdad and Samarra. The college curricula are approved by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Committee of Deans of Colleges of Education in Iraq.
It grants a bachelor’s degree in education and each department within its specialization and its certificate qualifies the graduate to work in teaching, employment, admission to graduate studies and central admission of colleges and adopts the annual study system.
